As a parent or caregiver, your involvement in your child's learning and school is valuable and important. Please provide us your confidential responses to our survey to help our school improve connections with parents and families. You will need a username and password to participate in the survey. This information will be sent home with your student this week. Parents without internet access will have the option to complete a paper survey. If you have already completed a paper survey recently, then you do not need to complete another one. Survey results will be accepted through June 1st. Summer School Opportunities |
Elementary School |
Summer Reading and Math Program (RAMP) is an academic intervention program for students currently in kindergarten through the fourth grade. It is designed for students who are in need of academic support based on classroom performance and the Ohio Achievement Assessment (grades 3-4) scores. Reading and math intervention are offered in the morning, and enrichment activities are offered in the afternoon through the Ravenna Parks and Recreation Department. Space is limited. |

Each scan of your Giant Eagle Advantage card provides FREE educational awards to our school! Carlin's School ID number is 0146. With that number, you can then register your Giant Eagle Advantage card by calling 1-800-474-477 or at gianteagle.com . Thank you for your support!!
Box Tops for Education
Each year our school receives over $1000 through Box Tops for Education. Tappan earns 10¢ for each Box Tops coupon turned in. Please cut them out and send them to school with your child. Our school also receives 50¢ for each person that registers online at: www.boxtops4education.com
For the online shoppers, visit the website at: www.boxtops4education.com, establish a login, click ‘Earn” at the top of the page, then select “Shop Marketplace”. Some of the stores available online are Walmart, Justice, Best Buy, GAP, Barnes & Noble, I-tunes, Kohls, Kmart, Old Navy and The Children's Place! There are over 100 different stores to choose from! You can get a complete list on line. Each time you shop at one of these stores online by accessing the store through the boxtops4education web-site you earn eboxtops for our school! Target “Take Charge of Education”
Target donates 1% of purchases made with Target REDcards to eligible schools chosen by Target shoppers. Twice a year, Target sends a check to our school for 1% of purchases made with registered cards. This program is at no extra cost to you and you can designate our school in one of three ways:

Funding Factory Recycling
Just bring us your empty printer cartridges from home, or work. Don't throw out your old cell phones, cameras, laptop computers or MP3 players either! We can recycle them and earn money for the school!
